All pain starts in the brain - and whilst acute injuries (3 or less months) can be simple to solve, chronic injuries (3+ months) can be complex, because of the emotional baggage we develop.
Most of Toby’s pain was physical, there for good reason and simple to solve through exercise…
But we still spent time exploring his pain and this sped up his progress because he could make sense of what he was going through (check out the video above - I send to most clients when we start to give them a better understanding of what chronic pain is, and what can affect it).
